PDAP UPDATE - July 16, 2026
The Rural Municipality of Torch River No. 488’s Provincial Disaster Assistance Program (PDAP) request for designation has been approved.
This means private property owners who experienced extensive damage in relation to the heavy rains may now apply directly to the program for cost recovery assistance for which private insurance does not cover.
Note: the application is directly between PDAP and the applicant, subject to the program eligibility criteria.
Application forms and PDAP guidelines are available here , or for pick up at the office.
TWP 530 is closed from RGE RD 2134 to RGE RD 2135 due to a washout

FYI on Moisture and Flooding Support programs that SCIC has available for producers. There is also the option to have an on farm visit. This has been available the last 3 years approximately but could be a valuable tool for producers to access.
