Please see the link for the 2026 Saskatchewan Travel Guide  This was something we provided at our office but it is no longer available in print copy.

FYI on Moisture and Flooding Support programs that SCIC has available for producers. There is also the option to have an on farm visit. This has been available the last 3 years approximately but could be a valuable tool for producers to access.

                                            2026 Census Information

There is no official deadline extension for the 2026 Canada Census. The reference date was May 12, 2026. While households were encouraged to complete it online using the Statistics Canada 2026 Census site by this date, Statistics Canada continues collection through June to help everyone comply.
Key Details on the 2026 Census Collection:
  • There is no "hard cut-off" date: While the deadline has passed, households can and should still submit their information online.
  • Collection process: Statistics Canada is currently in the follow-up phase. If you have not submitted your form, expect reminder letters, phone calls, or a personal visit from a census enumerator.
  • Penalties: Completing the census is legally mandatory under the Statistics Act. Households that continuously refuse to participate after repeated follow-ups and warnings may face fines up to $500
  • Resources: If you misplaced your secure access code or need help completing your questionnaire, visit the Government of Canada Census Contact page for assistance.
